Layered Security
Antivirus, Data Protection, Network Security, Vulnerability Scanning
Good cyber security is multi-layered. It should at minimum consist of up to date antivirus software on each computer/server with data protection capabilities to combat ransomware. Firewalls on your computers/servers/network equipment to filter the incoming and outgoing data and regular vulnerability scanning to test your defences.

Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR)
In addition to the above recommendations it is important to consider an EDR solution which compliments your existing security by actively hunting for threats and detecting threats that evade traditional security products like antivirus and firewalls. If you do not currently employ an EDR solution I can assist you in implementing one!
Assessments and Incident Response
Assessments
If you require advice and guidance on improving your cyber security and would like me to assess what you currently have in place I'd be happy to do so.
Incidents
If you find you have suffered a breach and require emergency assistance get in touch now and will assist as best I can.
Training
User Awareness
It is important to note that, no matter how sophisticated your cyber security measures are, it can all to easily be overcome by a user tricked into handing over access. This is all too common and is often the main cause behind a security breach and therefore awareness and training are key to ensure everyone in your organisation knows how to recognise and respond to attempts to comprise them.
Continual Testing Of Your Workforce
It helps to regularly test your workforce's ability to recognise and deter attempts to circumvent your cyber security. With that in mind it is possible to set up regular security awareness training in a safe and simulated environment to ensure everyone knows what to look out for and to keep their senses sharp.
